Overview
Nirav Engineer is a dedicated leader and expert technologist who began his career with CPM in 1999. Raised in San Francisco by immigrant parents who emphasized the value of hard work and education, Nirav studied Computer Information Sciences at San Francisco State University.
After initially joining the firm as an administrative assistant while completing his studies, he quickly transitioned into the role of Assistant Investigative Analyst. In this position, he worked closely with former Chief Investigative Analyst Don Thornton, absorbing the foundational knowledge and extensive experience that shaped the firm’s successful investigative team.
Nirav took over the leadership of the investigative division in 2008 as the Chief Investigative Analyst. For over a decade, he was instrumental in transforming the firm’s investigative capabilities by incorporating cutting-edge technology and advanced methodologies. His expertise includes utilizing a wide range of sophisticated tools, such as the Bloomberg terminal, Lexis, and intricate Boolean search techniques. He has been involved in several key investigations, including significant cases within Silicon Valley.
In 2021, Nirav was promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO), a role where he continues to drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure the firm remains at the forefront of technology adoption.
With over two decades of commitment to CPM, Nirav's work ethic and technological vision consistently propel the firm forward.
In his free time, Nirav and his wife and two kids are avid world travelers and enjoy eating at new restaurants.
