Congratulations to our partner, Nanci Nishimura for being selected to the Daily Journal’s Top Women Lawyers in 2020. She was recognized for her work on complex civil litigation focused on antitrust and business cases and community-based pro bono work. Governor Gavin Newsom recently named Nishimura to the California Uniform Law Commission. She serves on the Commission on Judicial Performance, including two years as the first woman lawyer Chair. She is a Trustee and Commissioner of the Asian Art Museum, Trustee of the California Science Center Foundation, and serves many other community organizations, including as a national Co-Chair of the Leaders Forum to promote Asian American Pacific Islander leadership.
