CPM obtained a preliminary injunction in favor of Vulcan Warbirds over possession of an authentic, World War II German Panzer IV Tank. Founded by philanthropist and Seattle Seahawks owner, Paul Allen, Warbirds acquires rare military vehicles and planes and has them displayed as part of the Flying Heritage Collection, a museum located in Everett, WA. Various World War II tanks form the centerpiece of the collection that utilizes the Flying Heritage Collection tank arena. In July 2014, Warbirds purchased the Panzer IV tank, once part of the famous Littlefield Collection of tanks in Portola Valley, CA. When the defendants refused to deliver the tank, CPM obtained a TRO and later an injunction preserving Vulcan’s rights to obtain the tank.
