CPM’s “no-poach” case against Geisinger and Evangelical has settled with Defendants agreeing to pay a combined $28.5 million to the settlement class. The settlement received final approval on March 16, 2026.  CPM and its co-counsel alleged that Geisinger and Evangelical—two competing healthcare systems in central Pennsylvania—conspired to suppress job mobility and wages for healthcare workers by agreeing not to actively recruit each other’s employees. This case was handled by Adam Zapala, Elizabeth Castillo, Christian Ruano and team.  CPM now looks forward to distributing the proceeds of the settlement to the employees.
