CPM is investigating price increases the company imposed on its core line of portable cameras in which GoPro publicly attributed price increases across its products to U.S. import tariffs. In February of 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court declared these tariffs unlawful, yet GoPro by its own executives' admissions, passed on these illegal tariff costs to its customers before selling its interest in a potential refund to a lender to clear its balance sheets before GoPro’s acquisition by another company.
