On March 11, 2018, the Pacific Fertility Center in San Francisco sent notices to hundreds of women informing them that their frozen eggs and/or embryos had been the subject of a storage tank malfunction. The Pacific Fertility Center initially attributed the failure of the storage tank to a reduction in liquid nitrogen levels and a resulting temperature drop in the affected tank. The Center is currently investigating the tank failure.

CPM is also investigating this incident. If you believe your frozen eggs or embryos were affected by this malfunction at Pacific Fertility Center, please click here or contact Anne Marie Murphy at (650) 697-6000. All communications are held to the highest level of confidentiality.
