CPM is Investigating a data breach at Ascension Health that may have disclosed the personal and health information of over 16 million persons.  According to its website, Ascension is “one of the nation’s leading non-profit and Catholic health systems, with a Mission of delivering compassionate, personalized care to all with special attention to persons living in poverty and those most vulnerable.”

Ascension Health has admitted that on May 8, 2024, it detected unusual activity that was caused by a ransomware attack.  Reports claim that the Russian ransomware gang “Black Basta” was behind the attack. Hackers stole the personal and health information of millions of Ascension Health customers in the United States.

If you received a notice of the data breach from Ascension Health, you may be entitled to compensation.
