On June 2, 2018, Frank Pitre received the 2018 Lifetime Legal Achievement Award for his advocacy for victims of PG&E following the San Bruno pipeline blast, the Butte fire, and the recent wildfires in Napa and Sonoma Counties. The Consumer Watchdog event celebrated the heroes and heroines of the public interest movement at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills with special guest presenter United States Senator Bernie Sanders.
