CPM Investigates PG&E's Involvement in Wine Country Fires

CPM is currently investigating PG&E for its possible involvement in the wine country fires. State fire officials are still investigating the cause of the fires but reports of power equipment failures have begun to turn the spotlight on PG&E. There are questions about how well PG&E maintained its equipment in the area and whether it adequately cut back trees from power lines to reduce fire risk as required by state law.

CPM is part of a leadership team that is taking on PG&E for its role in the Butte fires which occurred in September 2015. That fire burned for 22 days, destroying 549 homes and charring 70,868 acres.

CPM also took on PG&E for its role in the San Bruno Pipeline Explosion.
