Gov. Jerry Brown Re-Appoints CPM Partner Nanci Nishimura to the CA Commission on Judicial Performance

Nanci Nishimura was recently re-appointed by Governor Jerry Brown to the California Commission on Judicial Performance. The Commission is responsible for investigating complaints of judicial misconduct, judicial incapacity and for disciplining judges. Ms. Nishimura was appointed a 4-year term to the Commission in 2011 and re-appointed to serve until 2019. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.A. and Masters and a law graduate of The Catholic University, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. She worked at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the International Trade Commission and served as a Legislative Analyst to U.S. Senator Daniel Inouye. Ms. Nishimura is very active in the Asian Art Museum and was recently appointed by Mayor Ed Lee to the San Francisco Commission of the Asian Art Museum.
