Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy is investigating a data breach involving highly sensitive Personally Identifiable Information and Personal Health Information affecting more than 1.9 million individuals that was recently disclosed. Anne Arundel Dermatology (“AAD”), a provider of medical, pediatric, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology services, experienced a network intrusion. On February 14, 2025, an unauthorized party breached AAD’s security systems and accessed files containing personal or health information. AAD claims that the unauthorized access ended on May 13, 2025. It is believed that the following types of information were compromised by the Data Breach:

- Addresses
- Dates of birth
- Email addresses
- Medical record numbers
- Health history
- Financial information
- Insurance information
- Appointment history
