CPM Investigates Finastra Technology, Inc. Data Breach

Have you received notice from Finastra that your private information may have been compromised in a data breach? You may be entitled to compensation from a class action lawsuit.

Finastra, based in Lake Mary, Florida, is a financial software company that provides solutions to banks, lenders, and other financial institutions that serves some of the largest banks in the world, including JPMorgan Chase, HSBC, and Bank of America.

Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy is investigating a massive data breach involving highly sensitive Financial Information stored by Finastra. On November 7, 2024, Finastra detected a security breach that affected its system and customer data. Breached records include names, social security numbers, dates of birth and other important personal information. A hacker posted over 400GB of customer data on the Dark Web for sale. Yet Finastra waited seven months before starting to send notice out to affected individuals.

If you received notice from Finastra, or your identity theft monitoring service has notified you that your information was included in the breach, then you may be entitled to compensation.
