Makenalani “Roo” Cash is an associate at Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, LLP. Her practice areas include environmental litigation, mass torts, securities and financial fraud, personal injury and wrongful death, and elder abuse.

Roo earned her J.D. from UC Law San Francisco, where she served as Executive Blog Editor for the UC Law SF Communications & Entertainment Journal. She also worked in the Workers’ Rights Clinic through Legal Aid at Work, providing free legal assistance to low-income workers facing employment-related issues.

Prior to law school, Roo graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Labor Studies. During her undergraduate studies, she interned for former Vice President and then–U.S. Senator Kamala Harris in her San Diego office.
