Overview

Makena Kershaw is an Associate at Cotchett Pitre & McCarthy, LLP, where she focuses on sexual harassment, personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and mass torts.

Makena earned her J.D. from UC Law SF in San Francisco, where she was an active member of Hastings Law Journal, serving as their Senior Managing Editor in her final year. She graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in advertising and minors in journalism and Spanish. Before attending law school, Makena worked as a journalist where she developed a passion for uncovering the truth and advocating for individuals harmed by the wrongful conduct of others.  

Outside the office, Makena is an avid cyclist, runner, hiker, and former competitive skier. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, whether on the mountain, cooking together at home, or traveling to new destinations.
