CPM Investigating Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 Incident

CPM is investigating the liability of The Boeing Company and Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc. for their involvement in the Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 incident in which a door plug was ejected from the airplane mid-flight, resulting in rapid decompression of the cabin. The National Transportation Safety Board found that Boeing and Spirit had opened the door before delivery to Alaska Airlines but that the bolts intended to hold the door plug in place were missing.
