Toriana S. Holmes is an Associate at Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, LLP, where she represents clients in securities, financial fraud, and antitrust. Prior to joining Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, Ms. Holmes worked as an associate for a firm in San Francisco where she represented clients in consumer bankruptcy matters and mortgage foreclosure litigation.
Ms. Holmes received her Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Political Science from Santa Clara University. While attending Santa Clara University, Ms. Holmes served as the Class of 2006 President and held a variety of other student leadership positions. She also participated in the Washington Semester hosted at American University and studied in the program’s Justice and Law Enforcement section.
She received her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law. While at Golden Gate University, she worked at a firm in San Francisco and also had a summer internship as a law clerk for Judge Kathleen Kelly at San Francisco’s Youth Guidance Center. While at Golden Gate University, Ms. Holmes served as a peer mentor for incoming law students and also participated in the Street Law course, which transplants law students into local bay classrooms to teach high school students about the different areas of the law.
